Flights & Transport
Flights to Sri Lanka become available for booking 12 months in advance and the earlier booked the cheaper they will be. It is around a 10 hour direct flight from London, 16 hours with one stop over from New Zealand, and 4 hours from Singapore. If you live anywhere else we’ll refer you to Google.
We realise that it will be a long journey for some of you, so we hope that you will stay a little longer and experience the beauty of Sri Lanka for yourselves either side of the wedding.
The main airport in Sri Lanka is Colombo airport, which is about a two hour drive from the wedding venue. Taxis are readily available at the airport and a journey to Ahangama should cost around 20,000 Lkr (approx £50).
Travelling shorter distances around Sri Lanka is best done in traditional Tuk-Tuks, you can haggle with your driver for price.
Places to Stay
